Hello everyone. On Hari Raya Qurban (9/12/08), I went back to do my bit of social work. That is to get involved in packing meat for distribution to the poor in commemorating the holy day for Muslims. It was a very wet day, started raining in wee hours in the morning up to late noon. Teamwork among volunteers was considered excellent that we finished at 2.30 pm given the number of cows (11) that was slaughtered at around 9.30 am. Had a good meal at my parents home before going back to my home at @ 5.00 pm.

Marine Pet

Hi everyone. Just want to share with you guys about my passion for marine animals. I am rearing a fire goby fish as my pet in my home. It is a saltwater fish, had it since 5 months ago and doing well in a very simple marine tank setup. It is full of character, intelligent and not boring compared to freshwater fish. Contrary to popular beliefs, marine fish setup are not difficult as long as you know what you are doing. Please go to http://www.wetwebmedia.com/ should u need more info. In my parents home, I have a big setup which consist of 3 types of clown fishes and other marine invertebraes such as tube worm and some corals. Anyone out there who has similar interests? Music background

Just want to share one of my passion which is playing music. I play bass guitar and my group consist of my 3 friends way back from high school days. We started playing together in circa 1991, playing tunes from rock up to heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Dio, Deep Purple, Bon Jovi and Loudness. After graduating high school, we separated due to furthering our studies and most of the band members went overseas. The lead guitarist, Jendol went to UK, the rythm guitarist, Azhari went to Germany and myself went to US. In 1998, we were reunited after graduated from respective universities and jammed occasionally around KL and Malacca area. Now our interest ranges from old school rock up to fusion jazz numbers. Most of the time we tend to create something of our own by free jamming at my guitarist's jamming studio. Commitment to daily jobs prohibits us from going further so at the moment it's just for fun. My bass gears are standard. Currently im using a 84 Aria Pro II (MIJ) and Trace Elliot Boxer practice amp. Occasionally I jam with persons who have similar interest, office colleagues, circle of close friends etc. I would love to get to know anybody out there who love playing music of similar tunes and perhaps we can share experiences, knowledge or even jam together if you are nearby KL area. So anybody out there, what do you think of the rock music scene nowdays? I feel like everything sounded the same. With exceptions of a very few, the ones that have the most original and creative would be more successful. I must say that I hate cover version songs. What do you guys think? Any opinion?

Suki the notty cat

This is our beloved Siamese cat. The name is Suki Pariki...hehehe... name given by my wife. We found her at the stairs of our apartment some 7 months ago. Thought it was somebody else's and didn't take her untill the 3 rd day where she still remained wandering around the stair area. She is hyperactive and intelligent cat. Will play with anything that moves or doesn't moves, she even went into the kitchen cabinet and ransacked our cooking stuff such as dried chilly and flour..u should see her with all the flour covering her face....huhuhuh... Well she brings happiness and joy to us and it is ALIVE!!!! hehehe... Well, this is the picture of her..
